Thompson Auto Body LLC began in 1976 as Bob Thompson and Sons Auto Body. Ben's father, Bob, labored vigorously over the years to establish a strong business foundation that has endured. Ben began working in the shop in 1983 washing windows and vacuuming cars before they were picked up by the customers. By the late 1980s, Ben was repairing rust and dents, sandblasting, and preparing vehicles to be painted by his father, Bob. After pursuing a successful career with two major retailers in the early to mid 1990s, Ben returned to Lebanon, Maine to marry, start his family, and take over control of the body shop upon Bob's retirement. Ben changed the name to Thompson Auto Body in 1996. After many successful years the business was transferred into an LLC under the current name of THOMPSON AUTO BODY LLC in 2007. Celebrating 35 years in business this year! Beginning in July 2011 Thompson Auto Body LLC began selling Atvs and UTV side by sides that YOU can buy for LESS with the same quality service that YOU have come to expect!
